FAQs

Can I wear makeup, fake tan or eye-lashes to an appointment?

No. You must arrive with a clean, makeup-free face with no eye lashes and no fake tan so that I can see your natural colouring. Preferably with hair off of the face

How long does a session take?

  • Colour analysis - Please allow 75 mins

  • Body Shape Session - 40 mins in-person (plus pre-session questionnaire)

  • Wardrobe edit - 90 mins (plus pres-session questionnaire)

Does your colour season change?

No. Your underlying skin tone and colouring remains constant throughout your life, meaning your core season does not change whether you tan, go grey, or age. Therefore you only have to have a colour analysis done once

3

What should I wear to an in-person consultation?

Wear comfortable clothing and avoid high-necked tops or heavy collars that interfere with the diagnostic draping fabric.

4

5

Do hair and eye colour determine your season?

Not entirely. While they provide clues, your season is primarily anchored in the way your skin responds to the different drapes and your undertone

6

Will you advise me on colours for hair and makeup as well as clothes?

Yes, the session provides an overview of the tones and shades you should consider for hair and makeup as well as clothing and accessories

7

What equipment will I need?

If you come to my home, I will be set up with the equipment. If I come to your home, you will need to be sat in natural light in front of a mirror (we both need to be able to see your reflection). I will of course bring the drape fabrics with me

8

Can the session be done in the evening?

No, the session needs to be done in daylight hours in natural lighting

9

Is the colour analysis available for men and women?

Absolutely – all my styling and colour services are available to men and women and many of my clients are men

10

Do you offer remote options?

All my services are done in-person. However, there is an option to do a remote personal shopping session.
